Rapid-Interactive (RI) Sessions

Back-to-back 3-minute talks, followed by a 50-minute digital display where authors present additional details of their work through provided LCD displays (see details in Item #1 below).

Traditional Presentation Sessions

Traditional 15-minute oral presentation sessions (see details in Item #2 below).

Authors of Late-Breaking News Posters will present their work through provided LCD displays (see details in Item #3 below).

Below is a link to the tentative program layout for each day of the conference. 
 

Program Overview
  1. Back-to-back, 20 three-minute oral presentations, no Q&A, followed by a 5-min transition time
  2. 50-minute interactive display where all authors across all four RI sessions will show more details of their work via digital LCD displays and interact with audience and answer questions (similar to a traditional poster presentation format). All displays will occur next to the large ballroom.

The RI sessions are intended to provide the authors an opportunity to present their work to a larger audience, enhance the interaction for conference participants, and encourage attendees to discuss with more authors during the interactive presentation that takes place after all 3-minute oral presentations.

The traditional presentation sessions are traditional technical sessions. Each session consists of 6 15-minute talks (papers). Authors are encouraged to present for roughly 12 minutes and leave about 3 minutes time for Q&A. Presenters should present the motivation of their work, summarize the technical approach, discuss the results, and offer concluding remarks.

Presenters of Late-Breaking Posters will present their work through provided LCD displays next to the ballroom. LCDs are 40”-42” in size and the expected resolution will be 1920×1080. Presenters can connect their laptops (HDMI, USB, and USB-C connections provided). The displays cannot be rotated, so please be sure to design your posters in 16:9 landscape format. All screens will be numbered according to your submission number, so make sure you find the screen with the correct number. Conference attendees will have an opportunity to walk around, see different digital posters, and ask questions and engage in discussion. This session is 60-minutes long and like a traditional poster presentation session.
